She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ward and Margie Davis Alexander (George Thomas "Tommy"); her husband George Thomas "Tommy" Cochrane III; her mother-in-law Elizabeth "Boo" Hendon Cochrane; and her sister Ann Marie Alexander Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, William Alexander Cochrane and Elizabeth Cochrane Burgess (Chris); her granddaughter Isabella "Izzy" Patsy Wren Burgess of Wilmington; her godchildren, Alison Flaugher (David) of Wrightsville Beach, Susan Flaugher of Wilmington, Maggie Flaugher of New York, Ashley Everett of Kinston, Will Flaugher (Rachel) of Virginia and Evans Flaugher (Ashley) of Raleigh; her sisters, Mary Jones of Raleigh and Susan Gower (Steve) of Kinston; her sister-in-law Dorothy Bernholz (Steve) of Charleston; and her pets, Louis, Rosie and Ringo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
