She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Govoni and Mary Ellen Govoni (Keough); her siblings, Robert Govoni, Thomas Govoni and Joan LeFrancois (Govoni); her former husband Merrill Nelson; and her sons, Steven Nelson, Michael Nelson and Paul Nelson.
She is survived by: her brother David Govoni; her grandchildren, Lori (Nelson), JP Perrone, Alan Nelson, Melissa Nelson, Kristofer Nelson, Jennifer Taddia, Bianca Tanner (Taddia) and Nate Taddia; her stepson Alan Taddia; Linda and Nancy. She is also survived by eight greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cartmell - Davis Funeral Home (373 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vine Hills Cemetery (102 Samoset St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
