Peggy Jean Driggers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 9, 2025, at the age of 91, Peggy Jean Driggers of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rillie Redell Driggers, Sr. and Lila Belle McLeod Driggers; her daughter Dorothy Sloan; and her brother Rillie Redell "Sonny" Driggers. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Sloan of Southport, NC and Glenn Sloan (Dawn); her granddaughter Jillian Sloan of Wilmington, NC; her sister Jeannette Irene Burger of Texas; her sister-in-law Gloria Driggers of Asheboro; and her nieces and nephews, Rhonda Burger, Sherri Barnett (Brad), Traci Greenwood (Jody), Ronald Burger (Gail) and Kenneth Burger (Tracy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
