With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy H. Thompson of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Franklin Holloway, Sr. and Tessie Beck Holloway; her husband Samuel B. Thompson, Jr.; and her siblings, James Lee Holloway, Walter F. Holloway, Jr., Rebecca Hall, Helen Tuck and Mattie Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa T. Caudill (Bobby) of Fairfield, OH and Bryan Edward Thompson (Diane) of Sunset Beach, NC; and her grandchildren, Erin, Nicholas Sheppard, Ashley, Laura and Amanda Thompson. She is also survived by sister, Grace Proctor; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peggy's memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or Wilmington Christian Academy.
