For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Cooley and Ruth Cooley; her husband James A. Lewis; and her daughter Joyce K. Lewis. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Henry (Greg) of Wilmington, NC and Shelly Russell (Bret) of Boulder Creek, CA; and her brother Roger Cooley of Woodbridge, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and her special friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
