He is survived by: his wife Linda Estep; his children, Lynn Hegedus (Tim) and Michael Barricella; his stepdaughter Terri Anderson; his grandchildren, Natalie, Madison Kudlacz, Nathaniel Barricella, Jonathan and Kayla Ivey; and his pet Tola.
His contributions to the community were significant, having worked for the New Hanover County Parks and Recreation Department.
