He was predeceased by: his parents, Zander Ray and Sally Ray; his brother W. P. Ray; and his son Kenny Ray. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Ray, Danny Ray (Kim Ray), David Ray and Kathy Ray Martin (Ronald Martin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
