He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Peggy D. Mapson (Otis) of Leland, NC and Pamela Perry of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his sister-in-law Eula M. McKoy; and his siblings' children, Otis Mapson, Jr. (Kathleen) of Marietta, GA, Bernard Jacobs (Detra) of Leland, NC, Charles R. Perry, Jr. of High Point, NC, Jacoeby Parker of New York, NY, Jeremy T. Perry of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mario Mapson (Courtney) of Holly Springs, NC and TeKisha M. Mapson of Greensboro, NC.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crystal Spring Missionary Baptist Church (4754 Blue Banks Loop Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
