We are sad to announce that, on August 28, 2023, at the age of 81, Richard A. Hatch of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Ogdensburg, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hatch and Mary Fuller Hatch; and his great grandchild Nora Claire Knight. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Messier); his sons, Michael (Jodi Hatch), James (Ginger Hatch), William (Tammy Hatch) and Scott (Chris Hatch); his grandchildren, Eric, Jennifer Hatch, Matthew Knight, Alex, Lora Hatch, Tyler Hatch and Ryan Hatch; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Hatch, Violet Hatch and Miles Knight.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gouverneur Fire Department, an organization that held a special place in Richard's heart.
