He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Aimone and Josephine Aimone; and his sister Virginia Dunham. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mark Aimone (Christine) of Old Saybrook, CT, Scott Aimone (Meeghan) of Wilmington, NC and Joanna Powers (Christopher) of Sagamore Beach, MA; his grandchildren, Sarah Aimone Coley, Samantha Aimone, Sophia Aimone, Logan Aimone, Haiden Powers and Linsey Powers; and his great grandchild Emilia Rose Coley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harbor United Methodist Church (4853 Masonboro Loop Rd, Wilmington, NC 28409). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
