He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Shannon and Adelheid Shannon; his brother Edward; and his wife Denise Marie Shannon. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda, Hope, Heidi and Paul; his children, Heather Quaranta of Charlotte and Adam Shannon of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Simone, Naomi, Ciel and Talia Quaranta; his pets, Tua and Gunnar; and his son Rick.
