He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy Uhlman; his son Richard Uhlman Jr.; his grandson Andrew Uhlman; and his close friend Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Michael Uhlman (Ann), John Uhlman (Yoriko) and Rebecca Fergusson (Mark); his brothers, Steve and Bruce Uhlman; and his pet Mandy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403).
