He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blair and Roberta Blair; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his siblings, John and Mary; his son Michael Frederick Blair (Courtney); his grandchildren, Eloise and Griffin; his daughter Sarah Ashton Pedersen (Cory); his grandchildren, Moses and Hollyn; and his pets, Huckleberry and Burt.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hope Community Church (3904 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405).
