Robert Phillips Porter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Phillips Porter of Wilmington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his daughters, Kimberly (Sabat) and Amanda (Mark); and his grandchildren, Robert, Marion and Anna.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Parish (25 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. James Church Music Ministry in Bob's memory.
