He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Harper Johnson and Clara Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Johnson; his daughter Malyssa Nicole Johnson (Corey Smith) of Garland, NC; his stepson David Rich of Corpus Christi, TX; and his sisters, Margie Todd of New Bern and Janet Pusey (George) of Ivanhoe, NC.
