It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Kennedy of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton Durwood Kennedy and Esther Cook Kennedy; and his brother Kenneth "Kenny" Kennedy. He is survived by: his son Eric Kennedy (Sarah); his stepchildren, Matthew Jacobson and Lori Rexrode Rhew (Phillip); his grandchildren, Pearson, Nolan, Paul and Jake; and his sisters, Jonnie Sharpe and Brenda Reavis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
