She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain Roy Malott and Thelma Humphries Malott. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Malott Penton and Howard Allen Penton III (Beth Penton); her grandchildren, Rachael Malott Mullen, Donald Collins Mullen III, Alexandra Claire Penton and Emily Elizabeth Penton; and her sister Barbara Malott Powell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Lebanon Chapel (814 Airlie Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403).
