He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Geneva Davis; his children, Kieron Davis (Crystal) of Leland and Tamiesha Bryant (Jermaine) of Wilmington; and his siblings, Rochester Blanks (Sandra) of Council, John W. Davis, III (Barbara) of Wilmington, Sadie D. Mapson (Fennell) of Leland, Sherian Davis of Wilmington and Diane D. Murphy (James) of Burgaw.

Viewing was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (901 S 5th Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
