She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Elizabeth Collins Mayhew and Frederick Leo Mayhew; her husband Earl Thomas Christenbury, Jr.; her brothers, Robert James Mayhew and Frederick Raymond Mayhew; and her brother-in-law Robert Gregory Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle L. Christenbury Gossard (Ronald Scott Gossard) of Buford, GA, T. Mark Christenbury (Melanie) of Cumberland, RI and Michael T. Christenbury of Wilmington; her sister Cheryl Lynn Mayhew Powell of Raleigh; her grandsons, Hunter Christian Gossard of Cumming, GA and Matthew Edward Christenbury of Cumberland, RI; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Christenbury Higdon (Jim Higdon) of Morehead City, NC and Jackie Mayhew of Silver Springs, FL; and her pet Ginger.
