She was predeceased by: her parents, John Teasdale and Thelma West Nesbitt; her husband B. C. Hedgpeth; her brother John Teasdale Nesbitt, Jr.; and her son Richard Wheeler Hedgpeth.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sally (Tim) and Nancy; her grandchildren, Mason, Jordan, Sarah, Marilyn, Chelsy, Janielle, Carlton and Coley; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Annabelle, Aiden and Arlo; and her sibling's children, Neal Nesbitt, Mark Nesbitt, Bill Raines, Karen Raines and Carol Ann Burns.
