She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Howard McKellar Sr. and Mary Frances McKellar; and her brother H. Howard McKellar, Jr. (Susie). She is survived by: her sister Beth Watkins Norris (Don); her nephew Chad Watkins (Melanie); her niece Erin Watkins Cohan (Jason); and her great-nephews, Jason and Joshua.
In her final years, Sondra faced the challenges of advanced-stage Alzheimer's disease. In her last months, as Alzheimer's raged through her body and mind, she was bed ridden and retreated into herself.
