He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ellison and Jackie Ellison; and his brother Greg Ellison. He is survived by: his wife Gail Ellison; his sons, Jesse Ellison (Melanie) and Tommy Ellison (Trisha); his grandchildren, Zachary Ellison, Savannah Ellison and Garrett Ellison; his great grandchildren, Mia and Sadie Ellison; and his sisters, Connie Roderick and Carol Holley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Steve's memory to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington, NC, whose care and compassion brought great comfort during his final days.
