We are sad to announce that, on October 24, 2025, at the age of 76, Stephen Robert Huston (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Huston and Margaret Huston; and his brother Terry Huston. He is survived by: his wife Sue Huston; his children, Ger Gentle, Donna Griffin (Mark), Don Gentle (Zoob), Paul Linkogle (Karey) and Andy Linkogle (Heidi); his sister Cindy Jenne (Bob); and his sister-in-law Ada Huston. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.
His work ethic, commitment, and contributions to the industry will not be forgotten by those who had the honor of working alongside him.
