He was predeceased by: his siblings, Subbama and Narasimha Naidu. He is survived by: his wife Sathya Kasala; his children, Mohana Angirekula (Manohar), Kalpana Jatla (Murali) and Karthik Kasala; his grandchildren, Aneesh, Ashika, Aakash, Shreya, Suhas, Saavya and Shivay; and his brother Gopalkrishna Kasala.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at pulmonaryfibrosis.org, a fight that was personal for Dr. Kasala.
