She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lonnie L. Nash and Mary Lucy Weaver Nash; her former husband Jim A. Talton, Sr.; her husband Col. John C. Gonzalez; her children, Robin D. Gause (Kevin) of Wilmington, NC, Jim A. Tatlon, Jr. (Margo) of Leland, NC and Michael Lee Talton (Julia) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Nash Burriss, Brent Burriss, Lauren Talton Henderson (Zach), Nicole Talton, Heather Talton, Kelsey Leigh Juarez (Frank), Morgan Talton Quesenberry (Scott), David Talton, Ryan Gause, Emma Gause and Jackson Gause; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Margaret Henderson and Ella Rose Juarez.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sylvia's memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, the local Humane Society or to the animal rescue of your choice.
