He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Pridgen and Robbie Pridgen; his brother Robin Lee Pridgen; his nephew Randy Gray Thompson; and his former wife Martha Lumbard Pridgen.
He is survived by: his children, Alexander Spiro Pridgen (Gena McKinley) and Leslie Susan Pridgen (Eddie Smith); his grandchildren, Chris Suplee, Nicole Suplee (Nate), Jaime Pridgen Scarmeas (Nick) and Anna Gray Pridgen; his sister Linda Thompson (John); and his sibling's children, Mark Thompson (Susan), Terri Lee Larkin and Johnny Thompson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
