He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Earp (Giacone); his parents, Jutson Earp and Enita Earp (Convey); and his siblings, Patricia, James, Robert and William.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Earp Jr. (Bobbi) of Franklinton, NC, Michael Earp of Wappingers Falls, NY, Kenneth Earp (Anna) of Surf City, NC and Christopher Earp (Reetu) of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, Desarae and Katelyn; his brother David Earp of Wilmington, NC; his cousin Tim Earp of Niagara Falls, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Earp and Shirley Earp. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
