It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Preston Barham in Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Harvey Barham and Evelyn Irene Moore Barham; his brother Terry Barham; and his pet Max. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Raye Johnson Barham; his daughters, Andrea Sullivan (Lance) of Knoxville, TN, Heather Howard (Kyle) of Leland, NC and Lauren Grubbs (Brandon) of Wilmington, NC.; his nephew Zachary Barham; his sister-in-law Lisa Barham of Port Royal, PA; his father-in-law Delbert Johnson of Wilmington; and his brother-in-law Ricky Johnson (Barbara) of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Wilmington Funeral and Cremation (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the National Lupus Foundation of the Red Cross in memory of Thomas Barham.
