He was predeceased by: his parents, Berry Maready and Stella Maready; and his brothers, Edgar Maready and Lynn "Sammy" Maready. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Maready; his sons, Brad Maready (Kimberly) of Wilmington and Kyle Maready (Leslie) of Wilmington; and his siblings, Edward Maready (Silvia) of Wilmington, David Maready (Audrey) of Chinquapin, Myrene Thigpen of Potters Hill and Margaret Bostic of Chinquapin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
