He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carter Moore; his daughters, Fern Moore Brown and LuAnn Moore Bartolo (Damon); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Burgess, Kelli Bartolo Mishoe (Michael), Robert Jacob Wilkins (Elise), Mary Vance Calhoun (Jonathan), Rachel Ann Simonsen, Peter Clark Wilkins and Gracie Wendell Bartolo; and his brother Jesse Clark Moore of Dunn, NC.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First Christian Church for the Shut In Ministry.
