Velma Layden Owens Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 17, 2023, at the age of 100, Velma Layden Owens of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Parker Layden and Luna Ester Winslow Layden; and her brother Thomas Carroll Layden (late Mary Elizabeth). She is survived by: her nephews, Thomas Layden (Colleen) of Wilmington, David Layden (Melissa) of Latrobe, PA and William Layden (Tina) of Ligonier, PA. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews.
