She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Liggin and Ruth Liggin McGhee; and her siblings, Barbara Sue Houghton and Samuel Liggin. She is survived by: her husband William R. Leary, Jr.; her children, William R. Leary III (Delmy), Cynthia L. Duncan (Robert) and Timothy M. Leary (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ricky, Kristen, Sarah, Trey and John; her siblings, Alice Hellums (J. W.) and Mike Liggin; her sister-in-law Christine Liggin; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Breast Cancer Association in her memory.
