He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Timberlake Estes and Phyliss Drollett Estes; his brother Tim Estes of North Yarmouth; and his niece Suzan Estes. He is survived by: his wife Lori Marks Estes of Wilmington, NC; his children, Mark Estes of Wilmington, NC, Shea Estes (Erika) of New Gloucester, ME and Amanda Estes (Frank Pellerin) of Fairfield, ME; his grandchildren, Cody Estes of Wilmington, NC, Kathleen Kelly, Sadie and Bennett Norweg of New Gloucester, ME; his siblings, Priscilla Estes Emerson of Topsham, ME and Kevin Estes of Heartland, ME; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins and dear friends and coworkers as well as grandkitties and puppies.
