It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Watkins (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Ken Watkins (Trina) of Leland, NC and Dorothy Watkins of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Eve Phillips (Brandon) of Wilmington, NC, Jeffrey Lynch of Portland, TX and Steven Lynch (Elizabeth) of Hampton, VA; his grandmother June Nobles of Wilmington, NC; and his aunts and uncles, Bobbie Costin (Lewis) of Castle Hayne, NC, Lynn Watkins (Ann) of Hollister, CA, Debbie Fowler (Robbie) of Clayton, NC, Kathleen Sigmon (Mike) of Hickory, NC, Trish Vermuele of Council Bluffs, IA, Karyn Kelly of Rosenberg, TX, Chrissy Kelly of Rocky Point, NC, Buddy Watkins (Theresa) of Burgaw, NC, Sean Kelly (Rita) of Rosenberg, TX and Michael Hicks of Celina, TN. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
