It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Addison Hurst (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Betsy; and his parents, Adrian Hurst and Betty Hewlett Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Williamson Hurst; his stepson James Hall (Nancy); his daughter Andrea Armistead (Dan); his grandchildren, Harrison and Bailey; and his daughters, Melinda Hall (Brooks Westbrook) and Susan Hurst Alford (Jack Alford). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Masonboro Baptist Church.
