He is survived by: his daughter Melody Clanton (Wayne); his granddaughters, Adrienne Bordeaux Graham and Sarah Elizabeth Clanton; his great grandchildren, Hayley Nicole Jacobs, Chase Owens Jacobs and Sophia Jayne Watts; his great great grandchild Gabriel Alexander Lavoie; his brother Joseph Canady (Shelby); his close friend Sarah Stevens; and his caregiver Krista Hardee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church in memory of William Roger Canady.
