He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Catherine Detterline McMahon; and his siblings, John McMahon, Kathy Hauler and Susan Heath.
He is survived by: his significant other Mae Edwards McMahon; and his family, Barry McMahon (Annie), Ed McMahon (Teena), Paul McMahon (Ruthie), Jim McMahon (Rhonda) and Andrew McMahon (Shirley).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (5909 Murrayville Rd, Wilmington, NC 28405). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
