He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Sr. Mistovich and Helen Mistovich (Repasky); his brother Michael Mistovich Jr.; and his grandsons, William, James and Matthew Heckman.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mistovich (Perry); his children, Melissa Schreiber (Jeff), Julie Dixon (Michael), James Mistovich (Colleen) and Stephanie Heckman; his grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jessica, Caroline, George and Noah; and his siblings, Leona Rose, Kathy Vadjunec, Walter Mistovich and Karen Mistovich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Fr James E. Waters Council 12017, Wilmington, North Carolina.
