He is survived by: his wife Lesley Gibson Shaneyfelt; his children, Melanie Holzhauser (Danny) of Goldsboro, Diana Walker of Pikeville, Lindsay Shaneyfelt of Washington, NC, Ryan Shaneyfelt of Utah and James Shaneyfelt (Sarah) of Elm City; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Morgan, Sebastian, Aidan, Maxwell, Scarlett and Holland.
