She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Batts; her parents, Raymond Brown and Smithie Person Brown; and her siblings, Doris Skinner, Billy, Robert and Raymond Brown, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susie Batts (Susan Mercer) of Wilson and Randy Batts (Pat) of Wilson; her granddaughters, Amanda Alford (Dustin) of Lucama and Emily Saucedo (Eduardo) of Clayton; and her great grandchildren, Levi and Logan Alford.
