Barbara Hester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Hester of Wilson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2026 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Hester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cameron and Sarah McNeill Cameron; and her siblings, Catherine, Ruth, James Cameron Jr., Charles and Hugh.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. Hester; her sons, Brian E. Hester (Daycis) of Chapel Hill and Christopher A. Hester (Mandy Fulghum) of Wilmington; her grandson Aaron Jurado Hester of Chapel Hill; and her sisters, Frances and Rachel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
