With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Ruffin of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Ruffin; his parents, Herman Lee Ruffin and Elzie Renfrow Ruffin; and his sister Linda Ruffin. He is survived by: his wife Twanesia Williams Ruffin; his children, Trina Burwell (Eddie) and Lee Herndon (Dana); his mother-in-law Rose Williams; his grandchildren, Sophia Lawrence, Douglass Herndon, Brittany Herndon, Jonathan Herndon, John Burwell and Phillip Burwell; and his pet Reign.
