She was predeceased by: her husband Lennis Bain, Jr.; her daughter Faith Darlene Thorne; her parents, Arthur Hawley and Lou Cora Hawley; and her brothers, Junior Hawley, Selby Hawley and Ray Hawley.
She is survived by: her son Joseph "Joe" Ray Bain of Clayton; her grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Bain of Selma, John Allen Thorne (Kathy) of Winston Salem, Jeffrey Thorne (Kim) of Stuart, Matthew Joseph Bain of Clayton, Andrew Tyler Bain of Clayton and Tanner Craig Bain of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Susannah Ellen Thorne, Joshua Issac Thorne, Jacob Graham Thorne, Jayden Matthew Bain, Charli Rae Bain, Joseph Davis Bain, Kullen Bain Wheeler and Scarlett Leigh Harriott; and her great great grandchild Benjamin Bain Thorne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church (2000 Ruann Dr SW, Wilson, NC 27893). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
