She was predeceased by: her father George Robert "Bob" Mangum, Jr.; her grandparents, George Robert "Bob" Mangum, Sr., Mary Stearman Mangum, Luigi and Lucille Moore Demilio; and her in-laws, A. D. Carter and Gena Carter.
She is survived by: her husband John Carter of Wilson; her children, Olivia Claire, Lauren, Caitlin Elyssa Bennett (Shane), Spenser Manz (Taylor), Sydney Manz and Zoie Manz; her grandchildren, Rhylee, Waylon, Everlee Blue, Oliver, Henley and Keeley Jane; her mother Linda Demilio Mangum; her stepfather Jim Lyndon; her brother David Ryan Mangum (Alyssa); and her sibling's children, Wesley, Sean, Miranda, Mackenzie, Maria and Thomas.
