We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 84, Billie Powell of Wilson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Billie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Powell; and his siblings, James Powell and Shirlene P. Baker. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy P. Sauls of Wilson, NC, Richard (Annette) of Atlanta, GA and Raymond Powell of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
