He was predeceased by: his daughter Lindy Davis; his parents, Charles Davis and Lula Davis; and his siblings, Nancy Thomke, Chuck Davis and Ralph Davis.
He is survived by: his close friend Claire Whitley Davis; his daughter Amanda Johnson (Jerry); his grandsons, Daniel Brockman (Catherine) and Billy Brockman; his sister Rae Brantley; and his great grandchildren, Judah and Davis Brockman. He is also survived by his wife, the love of his life.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
