He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eric "Buck" Skinner and Elsie Mae Matthews Skinner; his siblings, Charles Eric "Dick" Skinner and Jean Carol Skinner Barnes; and his pet Sonny.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Carlisle Skinner; his sons, Jason Skinner (Tonya) and Jonathan "Johnny" Skinner (Amber); his grandchildren, Dixon Skinner, Jackson Davis, Willow Skinner and Georgia Davis; his brothers, Buddy Skinner (Peggy), Ricky Skinner (Venise) and Mickey Skinner (Janice); and his close friend Marley. He is also survived by many in-laws, special nephews, nieces, church members, and his puppy.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calvary Pentecostal Church (2606 Downing St SW, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
