He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Whitley; his siblings, Harold, Randall, Cray, Stewart and Hilda; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Cassidy "NeNe".
He is survived by: his father Omus Whitley; his wife Jane Whitley; his daughters, Stephanie Owens (Lee), Gretchen, Brendell Robinson (Jason) and Amber Nichols (Ronnie); his sisters, Sonya Stone (Wayne), Charlotte Sherron (Z. T.) and Amelia Phillips (Charles); his grandchildren, Addison, Bailee, Trey (Alexis), Mandy, Chelsey (Chad), Nick, Taylor, Alanna, Ronnie Jr., Anna and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Damien, Brentley, Serenity, Quinn, Nash, Beau, Wade and Chassidy.
