She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Baughman Eagerton and William Marion Eagerton; her husband Jesse Robert Upperco; and her sister Katharine Eagerton Morgan. She is survived by: her children, Don Upperco (Trish) of Fredericksburg, VA and Ann Dolman (Dave) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Noelle Upperco of Fredericksburg, VA, Ethan Upperco of Fredericksburg, VA, Dane Upperco of Chicago, IL, Caroline Dolman Herlin (Peter) of Austin, Texas and Elena Dolman Ahrenholz (Matt) of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchildren, Kate Herlin, Betsy Herlin, Lucy Ahrenholz, Eliza Ahrenholz, Ava Upperco and Scottie Upperco; and her sister-in-law Esther Upperco Gay (Bob) of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by niece and five nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (100 Green St NE, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Caroline to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27893.
