With solemn reverence, we commemorate Christine Talton (Wilson, North Carolina), whose life came to an end on June 4, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Royce Harrell Talton; her parents, George Turnage and Bessie Turnage; and her siblings, Doris Howard, Faye Evans, Grace Barnes, Melvin Turnage, Freeman Turnage and Danny Turnage.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Aycock (Phil) and Jody Teague (Tony) of Lucama; her grandchildren, April Letchworth (Will), Andrew Aycock and Kayla Teague; her great grandchildren, Lainey and Ava Letchworth; her siblings, Jackie Taylor (George) of Wilson, Ethel Gates of Lucama, Linda Watts of Texas and Gary Turnage (Sandra) of Deep Run; and her friend Gwen Burgess of Lucama.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lucama Senior Center and made payable to Myra Basinger, 6044 Wiggins Mill Rd, Lucama, NC 27851.
